Iznalloz is a small town about 30kms north of Granada. The town is the 'capital' of the region known as Los Montes Orientales which consists of 17 towns/villages spread over the north of the province of Granada. Encompasses within this area is a very interesting but little known range of mountains called Sierra Arana. Iznalloz itself has amongst its local facilities a health centre, a swimming ppol and several shops/banks/cafes in its very busy centre as well as the ruins of an ancient moorish castle.
