 The province of Granada houses an incredible amount of varied attractions in less than 13.000 square km.
The Alhambra- one of the most beautiful monuments in the world-, the Sierra Nevada with 62 km. of slopes
and a great deal of facilities is Spains best ski resort, good walking in the Alpujarras and at one hour away from
the city the warm beaches of the Costa Tropical. The infrastructure is changing rapidly in the whole province, for example good connection with the
highway from Barcelona and new flight companies, like Ryanair, flying from Granada City to London Stansted and Monarch Airlines flying into Granada with flights to and from Gatwick and Liverpool.
Prices of houses are low but rising rapidly which creates a good investment climate.  Granada is the capital of the province and is influenced by both Christianity and the Moors. Spend the day walking round the Alhambra Palace and Generalife, taking in the history of the buildings. There are so many museums, parks, theatres and other interesting historical buildings within the city itself. It is only 25 minutes from the Sierra Nevada for skiing in the winter or mountain climbing and 30 minutes to the beach. |
