The Costa Tropical is one of the most beautiful spots of Andalucia. With a most enviable subtropical micro-climate of the Spanish Mediterranean that ensures constant temperatures all year round and where many tropical fruits are grown, such as sugar cane, bananas, custard apples, mangoes, guavas... Its coast with small beaches surrounded by extraordinarily beautiful cliffs has clean and warm water. The Costa Tropical is, unlike the Costa del Sol, not overcrowded and expensive and like Granada a good place to be able to live or spend some time quietly and it has at the same time the culinary delights with tapas-bars, restaurants and shops. Because of the prices and upcoming infrastructure and development it is also an ideal place for investment. The Costa Tropical is situated on the southern Mediterranean coast of Spain in the Province of Granada, between La Rabita on the east side and La Herradura on the west side and at present is virtually undiscovered by tourism. With the gentle winds from the north of Africa, the warmth of the Mediterranean's waters, and the protection afforded by the high peaks of the Sierra Nevada, provide the area with a very particular microclimate unique on the peninsula.
